Added Gradient Bonds Reflecting Atomic Colors

MolSketch's structure editor now includes gradient bonds.

You can apply a gradient that reflects the atomic colors at both ends of colored atoms connected by bonds.

What are Gradient Bonds?

When atoms are color-coded, there are occasions where you want the bonds to partly reflect that relationship as well. With this update, a gradient effect where the color switches at the center of the bond can be used.

This approach can be applied not only to single bonds but also to multiple bond representations.

How to Use

1. Assign colors to atoms
2. Select the gradient tool from the color tool group
3. Click on a bond

Clicking the same bond again will remove the gradient and return it to the original bond color.

When is it Useful?

• When you want to visually show charge distribution with colors
• When you want to reflect the color coding of atoms onto the bonds as well
• When you want to make visual connections clearer in educational diagrams

Compared to single-color bonds, this lets you express relationships with richer detail.
